ANIKE FOUNDATION & FURAHINI PARTNERS - ICT/COMPUTER PROJECT

ANIKE FOUNDATION - USA is our long time friend, since 2015. This Year they awarded us with USD 1,000 and we had to think of what can we do to bring a big impact with this money. Then we opted to do something that has added value in the school, motivate pupils, excelling in academic performance through regular tests and exams. Laid foundation for future expansion

Project details

AMAN HILLS Pre and Primary school had no Computers or ICT department therefore all computer topics were studied theoretically only. However we had a long time dream of having this facility. It happened that our partners (ANIKE FOUNDATION) asked if we can do this project even at small scale.
So to make it possible we decided to change the use of one office and make it an ICT/Computer Room and make it official academic office. A lot of works had to be done which includes:-
1. Renovating the office by welding frames to allow table setting
2. Wiring the office to fix cables and switch sockets
3. Changing the front door by fixing an iron sheet panel door

After Office Modification we went on to Purchase second-hand ICT equipments:-
1. Canon Copier Machine
2. 3 Pcs Laptops
3. 1 desktop Computer
4. repaired 2 Pcs - CPU

This Project was better to start than having nothing. Now pupils can learn practically, into small groups - while praying that the future will open doors for a fully functioning Computer Laboratory.
We are calling out local and international NGOs, Individuals, Corporations or companies to support expanding this Project.
