SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP

The Rudolf-Bembenneck-Gesamtschule (Burgdorf) and the Furahini Youth Secondary School (Kisangara) establish this cooperation as a long-term partnership and strong connection through regular contact between two schools and their communities. Our aim is to forge friendship, living the partnership, meet on equal footing but it depends on available ressources. Requirement for visiting each other is the funding of ENSA. Only if ENSA is funding money then we do the exchanges. Our partnership is based on mutual respect, trust and openness. We are working together as equals. We believe that every member of a school community has something valuable to contribute and that we become stronger by learning from one another.

Project details

Together, we want to:

• Learn from one another by sharing knowledge, experiences and perspectives, strengthening language skills and developing a deeper understanding of each other's culture and way of life.
• Grow together by encouraging students and teachers to develop their character, knowledge, abilities and sense of responsibility.
• Build lasting relationships through regular communication, personal encounters and continued cooperation.
• Work on the sustainable developement goals for example good health and well being (e.g. sports and school garden), quality education (e.g. science lab) and partnerships for the goals (e.g. building connections with organizations and associations).
